HISTORY

Kyriakon School was founded in June of 1996 with the vision of giving a good quality education to children with special needs.The word Kyriakon is taken from the greek language which means “belonging to the Lord”. Kyriakon is a non-profit organization that offers an integrated educational program and therapy to students with a need of special education and various types of therapy. The teaching foundation of this school is to love each other as a reflection of social
responsibility.
Kyriakon School began in a rented house located in Lebak Bulus, Jakarta. Thanks to the support and help of several consultants, from Indonesia, America, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australia, Kyriakon has grown into a school with an integrated therapy. In 2001, Kyriakon moved its teaching learning activities into a three story building located at Jalan Kampung Baru VI/8, Ulujami - South Jakarta
